You can also fill out the application for the 1st-12th grade academy online here: https://forms.gle/VD857djfANbaHnmk6. The tuition and fees contract, school records request, and pastor reference form will need to be printed and signed.
A student is admitted to Faith Baptist Academy based on the parents’ desire for a Christian education for their child, as well as the child’s desire to be a part of our school. To strive to maintain the integrity of our school, as well as to uphold the Biblical values and principles on which our school was founded, each potential family must go through the following registration procedures:
- Interview with the principal, student(s), and parents of the potential student(s)
- Application completed and received along with the application and registration fees paid
- Copy of birth certificate
- Health form completed with all vaccinations required by the Department of Health and Human Resources
- Transfer of all academic records from previous school(s)
- Tuition contract completed and signed
- Verification of membership at a church of like faith and practice
Upon completion of the above steps, a student is accepted on a probationary period of six weeks to ensure that they are capable of maintaining academic excellence, as well as possessing the proper attitude and Christian behavior required by all the students at FBA.
POLICY ON PAYMENTS AND LATE PAYMENTS
The tuition paid on behalf of our students does not cover the full cost of their education. Without the support of the Faith Baptist Church, free-will gifts, and our fundraising programs, we would not be able to continue our operation. Therefore, it is vital that tuition fees be paid when due and that families participate and lend their full support to our various fundraising efforts.

2. REGISTRATION
- IF PAID BY May 15, 2025 $100 per student
- IF PAID May 16 – August 7, 2025 $150
- IF PAID AFTER AUGUST 7, 2025 $200
3. TUITION RATES
- $3,950.00 FIRST CHILD
- $3,160 (20% discount) EACH ADDITIONAL CHILD
- VETERANS & FULL-TIME CHRISTIAN SERVANTS GET A DISCOUNT OF 10% ON THE FIRST CHILD
- 10% DISCOUNT IF FULL TUITION IS PAID BY AUGUST 7, 2025
4. PAYMENT DETAILS
- There are two payment options available:
- Tuition paid in full for a families’ account will receive a 10% discount (tuition only).
- 10 monthly installments beginning August 10, 2025. (Monthly payments for each student is one tenth of that year’s total tuition for that student.)
- Lump sum payments can be made at any point during the calendar year to help reduce your monthly obligation.
Staff
DUSTIN MCARTHUR - Principal/Middle & High School Teacher
Bro. McArthur was raised in a Christian home. Dustin is from Martinsburg, West Virginia, and was saved as a third-grader in his childhood pastor’s office. He graduated from Martinsburg Christian Academy in 2014. After high school, Dustin moved to Walls, Mississippi, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Tri-State Baptist College as well as met his wife, Ally. They were married on June 9th, 2018. Dustin and Ally have two sons, Daniel, and Seth and a daughter Jenna. Dustin is serving the Lord here by educating our young people, and has much experience in dealing with children and teenagers. He is excited about partnering with parents in Madison County to provide a quality education for the youth of our community.
JULIE VAUGHAN Preschool 3 & 4 year old Teacher
Mrs. Vaughan is thrilled to be joining our team this year as we start a preschool class for 3 & 4 year olds here at FBA! She has five years experience in teaching time. She has been a preschool teacher, assistant director, and education manager. She has an associates degree in Early Childhood Education from Washtenaw Community College in Michigan. She is eager to help children develop foundational skills that will give them a strong start in preperation for Kindergarten. One of here favorite quotes about children is from C.S. Lewis “Children are not a distraction from more important work; they are the most important work.” She is excited about helping parents grow their children into the person that God created them to become for His honor and glory!
EMMA TRUJILLO - Kindergarten - 1st Grade Teacher
Miss Emma came to know Christ as her Saviour at the age of 16 in Colorado after realizing that her faith needed to be in the Lord Jesus Christ instead of the Christian friends she was associating with as a teenager. She felt the call to serve God with her life and after graduating from Springs Baptist Academy in Colorado Springs, CO she left for bible college and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education in 2019 from Tri-State Baptist College in Walls, Mississippi. She loves teaching children and has been working with them the past six years through christian education. She is joined our school staff for the 2022-23 school year. We are excited to have her teaching on our staff.
BETH FENNER - 2nd-4th Grade Teacher
Miss Beth Fenner trusted Christ as her Savior as a thirteen year old girl during her Christian school revival meeting. Her mother lead her to the Lord. After graduating from Lafayette Bible Baptist Academy in Manchester, Missouri, she attended Commonwealth Baptist College in Lexington, KY and completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education in 2012 and a Master’s Degree in 2013. She has come to teach here after ten years of teaching experience in a Christian school in Maryland. In 2024 we added her to our staff. She has a passion for serving the Lord and teaching children.
DENISE SHORT - 5th & 6th Grade Teacher
Mrs. Short grew up in broken home and heard the gospel at church through the bus ministry of Trinity Baptist Church in Warrenton, VA where she was saved as a child. She later was baptized and dedicated her life to serve Christ at the age of 16. She married her husband Chuck and they began serving the Lord together through local churches in Virginia, West Virginia and now here in Richmond, Kentucky. She is the mother of six children and began teaching for us in the 2022-23 school year. She has a heart to help students grow academically and spiritually.
LAURA DOSS - Middle & High School Teacher
Mrs. Doss was raised in a Christian home. She graduated from a Christian school in Illinois and then went to Hyles-Anderson College where she met and married our pastor, John Doss. She was saved in 2007 and has spent her life investing in children and teenagers lives through music and English. We are glad to have her teaching for us. She has been a Christian school educator for over 20 years. She has a passion to please the Lord and to help young people get the proper tools they need to succeed in life for the Lord.
